   Prepare a dedicated wallet for Ambient farming. Create a fresh MetaMask or Rabby Wallet account specifically for this protocol. Using a dedicated wallet keeps your activity clean and avoids cross-contamination with other airdrop campaigns. Sybil detection tools look for shared on-chain links between wallets, so separation from the start is critical.

   Fund your wallet with ETH on Ethereum mainnet. Transfer or buy at least $50–200 worth of ETH. You need ETH both as a tradeable asset and for gas fees. Ethereum gas typically costs $3–15 per interaction; budgeting realistically prevents running out of gas mid-campaign and leaving incomplete activity trails.

   Go to ambient.finance and connect your wallet. Click 'Connect Wallet' in the top-right corner of the interface. Always double-check the domain name before connecting — phishing sites that mimic DEX interfaces are common. Bookmark the official URL after your first visit to avoid future mistakes.

   Execute your first swap on Ethereum mainnet — for example, ETH to USDC. Navigate to the 'Swap' tab, select ETH as input and USDC as output, and swap a meaningful amount ($30–100). This creates your first on-chain interaction record with the protocol. Even modest amounts count toward cumulative USD volume metrics that protocols use for retroactive snapshots.

   Swap back from USDC to ETH a few days later. Consistent two-way trading across multiple weeks and months signals organic usage rather than a one-time bot interaction. Protocols heavily weight 'active months' in retroactive distributions — 4–6 months of regular activity is significantly better than one burst of 20 transactions in a single day.

   Add liquidity to the ETH/USDC pool. Go to the 'Pool' tab, select ETH/USDC, and deposit both assets into a liquidity position. You can use concentrated liquidity by setting a custom price range. LP activity is typically weighted higher than pure trading in retroactive drops because liquidity providers actively contribute to protocol functionality and take on more economic risk.

   Hold your LP position for at least 4–6 weeks before removing it. Historical retroactive distributions (Uniswap UNI, Velodrome VELO) rewarded LPs who maintained positions for extended periods far more generously than those who rapidly entered and exited. The longer your capital is deployed, the stronger the signal of genuine protocol participation.

   Explore the Vaults section of the protocol. Ambient's Vaults offer automated yield strategies on top of the base liquidity layer. Interacting with Vaults adds a distinct on-chain action type to your wallet's profile. Protocols reward users who engage with multiple product surfaces, as this indicates deeper familiarity with the platform rather than surface-level farming.

   Use the 'Trade' tab to place market or limit orders. The Trade section is separate from the basic Swap interface and represents a different type of protocol engagement. Interacting with all major product features — Swap, Trade, Pool, Vaults — creates a comprehensive activity fingerprint that looks authentic and maximizes the range of possible eligibility criteria.

    Bridge ETH to Blast and use Ambient on Blast. Switch your MetaMask network to Blast, bridge some ETH using the official Blast bridge, then perform swaps and optionally add liquidity on Ambient's Blast deployment. Gas on Blast is far cheaper than Ethereum mainnet, making it cost-effective to accumulate more interactions. Multi-chain activity strongly signals genuine user interest.

    Bridge ETH to Scroll and use Ambient on Scroll. Repeat the same process on the Scroll L2 network — bridge ETH, swap, and consider providing liquidity. Scroll is another low-cost environment where you can build meaningful activity history with minimal gas spend. Each chain's activity is typically counted independently in retroactive drops.

    Trade or provide liquidity in secondary pools beyond ETH/USDC. Explore the 'Explore' section to find other active pools and execute at least one transaction in a different trading pair. Multi-pool activity demonstrates that you are exploring the protocol organically rather than following a single scripted route, which makes your wallet appear more like a genuine DeFi user.

    Follow @ambient_finance on X (Twitter) and join any official community channels. Social presence matters because many protocols add social verification tasks (Twitter follow, Discord role, Galxe quest) as part of token launch eligibility. Setting up notifications ensures you don't miss time-sensitive announcements about snapshot dates or claim portals.

    Continue farming activity monthly over 3–6 months. Set a calendar reminder to interact with Ambient at least once a week — a small swap or checking your LP position counts. Sustained activity over many months is one of the strongest indicators of a real user and is heavily weighted in retroactive allocation formulas used by most major protocols.

15. 15

    Document all your activity in a simple spreadsheet. Record your wallet address, transaction dates, approximate USD volumes, and which features you used. When a token launch is announced, eligibility checkers and claim portals often require verification. Having a clear record of your history helps you troubleshoot quickly and ensures you claim any allocation before deadlines expire.
