Zora
Zora is a Web3 platform for creators offering free ZORA token claiming opportunities for eligible users.
Steps
How to participate
- 01
Prepare your Ethereum-compatible wallet (, Coinbase Wallet, or Zora's native embedded wallet). If you interacted with Zora before the , use that same historical wallet — your eligibility is bound to its address. Fresh wallets created after the snapshot cutoff have no claim.
- 02
Navigate directly to claim.zora.co in your browser. Type the URL manually or access it only via a link published by @ourZORA on Twitter/X. Never click claim links from Telegram groups, Discord DMs, or search engine ads — phishing clones are extremely common and can drain your entire in a single transaction.
- 03
Connect your wallet to the claim portal. The site will automatically query the Zora database and display your eligibility status and token allocation amount. If you have multiple with historical Zora activity, check each one separately — allocations are per-address and non-transferable at this stage.
- 04
If eligible, review your allocation and initiate the claim transaction. Make sure your contains at least 0.005 ETH to cover Ethereum fees (typically $1–5 at normal network congestion). Initiating the claim during off-peak hours (late night UTC on weekdays) can reduce gas costs by 30–50%.
- 05
Sign and broadcast the claim transaction. Wait for on-chain confirmation — this typically takes 15–60 seconds on Ethereum. Do not close the browser tab or re-submit the transaction; duplicate submissions waste and may cause errors. You can track confirmation status on Etherscan using the transaction hash shown in your .
- 06
After confirmation, add the ZORA token contract to your 's token list to see your balance. Find the official contract address exclusively through Zora's official announcements — never from third-party sites or DMs. Adding the wrong contract address is a common mistake that wastes time and can expose you to scam tokens.
- 07
Optionally, your ZORA tokens to Zora Network for use within the platform ecosystem. Use the official bridge at bridge.zora.energy (OP Stack native bridge). This is recommended if you plan to trade Coins or mint content on Zora Network, where fees are a fraction of Ethereum costs.
- 08
Create or log into your Zora account at zora.co. The platform uses an embedded system (Privy-based) that supports both email login and external wallet connection. A verified account identity is important for any future — anonymous interactions with no linked identity are weighted less in creator-economy protocol distributions.
- 09
Explore the Coins feature and make at least one trade. Go to the Trending section and identify a creator or topic gaining momentum. Even a small position ($5–20) demonstrates genuine platform engagement. The Coins mechanic rewards early participants — buying a trending coin before it peaks and selling later is the core alpha loop.
- 10
Mint a piece of content on Zora Network. You can turn any image, post, or piece of text into an on-chain NFT. Minting on Zora Network is nearly free (under $0.10). This establishes you as a creator — not just a trader — which historically receives higher weighting in NFT-platform drops.
- 11
Follow and engage with at least 5–10 active creators on the platform. The social graph (following, collecting, tipping) contributes to your platform engagement footprint. Creator-economy protocols like Zora specifically value participants who build genuine social connections, not just financial transactions.
- 12
Check if a referral or invite program is active on your Zora dashboard. If available, share your referral link with genuine contacts who are likely to engage with the platform. Referral mechanics often grant both the referrer and referee bonus allocations in future distributions — this is a legitimate and often-overlooked multiplier.
- 13
Monitor @ourZORA on Twitter/X and the official Zora Discord for announcements about secondary claim tranches or new community allocation events. Some programs release additional rounds for users who missed the first or who became active after the initial distribution. Setting up notifications ensures you never miss a window.
- 14
Maintain consistent monthly activity rather than bursty farming sessions. Perform 3–5 meaningful interactions per month (mints, trades, social engagements) across both Ethereum and Zora Network. Consistent, organic-looking activity over a 3–6 month period is the profile that gets rewarded in subsequent .
- 15
Decide on your post-claim strategy: hold, sell, or use within the ecosystem. If the ZORA token has utility within the Coins marketplace (fee discounts, governance, ), holding and using it may generate better returns than an immediate sell. Research the token's utility mechanics post-claim before making a decision. This is not financial advice — experienced farmers often sell a portion at launch to cover their farming costs and hold the rest.
